EDUCATING THE NEXT GENERATION OF MASSAGE THERAPISTS
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The program at Palpation Prep School of Massage covers the following areas:
- Fundamentals of Massage – Includes the history of massage, self-care, postural analysis; basic, advanced and deep tissue techniques; prenatal & pregnancy; Soft Tissue Release; sports massage, and other specialized techniques are included.
- Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology – Includes a tour or the body, chemistry, cells and covers in-depth all the systems of the body.
- Kinesiology – Includes muscle identification and understanding; origin, insertion and action; bones; ligaments; tendons; joints and more. We utilize a wide variety of methods addressing all learning styles to ensure complete understanding of muscles.
- Clinical Business, Ethics & Communications – Includes boundaries, ethics, office skills, marketing, billing, law and financial.
PROGRAM DETAILS
The Palpation Prep–School of Massage Advanced 650-hour Massage Therapy Program includes:

- 200 hours of Massage Theory, Technique & Practice Fundamentals, & additional Modalities
- 200 hours of Business of Massage
- 125 hours of Anatomy, Physiology, and Kinesiology
- 40 hours of Pathology
- 35 hours of Specific Treatment
- + additional 50 hours of massage therapy education to ensure a deeper understanding of the material
